I got forwarded the following comment which has been posted in Channel Nine website, supposedly by an Australian. This clearly describes the major events during the Sydney Test.
1. Aus was was 6-134. Symonds was given 4 lives, he went onto make 150.Give those lives to Sachin and he would hit 300!
2. Ponting was out on 15, and he went onto make 55. When he was given out wrongly on 55, he was furious and slammed his bat going into the dressing room. 1 wrong decision(when he was out on 15 already!!) and look how he reacted. How do you think the Indians feel with 13 wrong decisions.
3. Symonds was out on Zero on Kumble's hatrick ball in the 2nd innings, he went onto make 61.
4. Hussey was also out when he nicked the ball, another repreive and he made 145.
5.Jaffer was given out on no-balls!
6. 2 of Indias best batsmen on day 5 were given out disgracefully. Why should Clarke be trusted to rule on apotentially match-turning catch when he stayed at the crease on afteredging a ball? Ponting's intentions can be seen where he claims to catch aball off Dhoni that clearly fell on the ground.
And people think Aussies deserve to win?! Absolutely disgusting!

NEW RULES FOR FAIR CRICKET (by ICC in association with CRICKET AUSTRALIA)
(1) Ricky Ponting – (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THIS CRICKET ERA AND WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED ) should be considered as the FOURTH UMPIRE for all Test Matches involving AUSTRALIA . As per the new rules, FOURTH UMPIRE's decision is final and will override any decisions taken by any other umpires. ON-FIELD umpires can seek the assistance of RICKY PONTING even if he is not on the field. This rule is made, so that every team understands the importance of the FOURTH UMPIRE.
(2) While AUSTRALIAN TEAM is bowling, if the ball falls anywhere close to the AUSTRALIAN FIELDER (WITHIN 5 meters distance), the batsman is to be considered OUT irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed. Any decision for further clarification should be sought from the FOURTH UMPIRE (please refer above). This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with SPORTIVE SPIRIT by all the teams.
(3) While BATTING, AUSTRALIAN players will wait for the ON-FIELD UMPIRE decisions only (even if the catch goes to the FIFTH SLIP as the ball might not have touched the bat). Each AUSTRALIAN batsman has to be out FOUR TIMES (minimum) before he can return to the pavilion. In case of THE CRICKETER WITH INTEGRITY, this can be higher.
(4) UMPIRES should be considered for huge bonuses if an AUSTRALIAN player scores a century. Any wrong decisions can be ignored as they will be paid huge bonus and will receive the backing of the AUSTRALIAN team and board.
(5) All AUSTRALIAN players are eligible to keep commenting about all players on the field and the OPPONENT TEAM should never comment as they will be spoiling the spirit of the AUSTRALIAN team. Any comments made in any other language will be considered as absolute RACIALISM.
(6) MATCH REFREE decisions will be taken purely on the AUSTRALIAN TEAM advices only. Player views from the other teams decisions will not be considered for hearing. MATCH REFREES are to be given huge bonus for rendering this selfless service.
(7) NO VISITING TEAM should plan to win in AUSTRALIA. This is to ensure that the sportive spirit of CRICKET is maintained.
(8) THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE : If any bowler gets RICKY PONTING - "THE UNDISPUTED CRICKETER OF THE CRICKETING HISTORY, WITH INTEGTIRY IN THE GAME OF CRICKET" more than twice in a series, he will be banned for the REST OF THE SERIES. This is to ensure that the best batsman/ Captain can play to break records and create history in the game of CRICKET.
All teams VISITING AUSTRALIA should read/ re-read these rules before setting foot in Australia if they plan to survive the Australian tour and Australian Media .
