Abhinav Bindra wins the Gold medal in the individual 10 Metre Air Rifle event in the Beijing Olympic Games. His Gold medal win is the first one in 88 years of India's Olympic history. I feel very proud as an Indian and it is a great accomplishment. Kapil Dev, one of the greatest cricketers India has ever produced, aptly summed it as biggest sporting achievement of India, even eclipsing his own Cricket World Cup win 1983.
It is a dream come true for every Indian and a Gold medal in Olympics in no mean achievement. Well done Abhinav Bindra!! Hats off to you!! You made India proud!!
